This year in ZD Zero Defects we are celebrating our 100 years anniversary. Our textile fabric started its professional path in the world of underwear manufacturing in the year 1920. And our philosophy hasn’t changed since then: handcrafted underwear garments made with absolutely the best materials and technology available at the time in the market.

We are proud of this milestone for many reasons. The main one being that, after so long, we continue offering our customers products that stand out for their quality and that have evolved adopting improved technologies and materials, while keeping the pace of market and customer needs.

Despite the different crisis that affected the textile industry throughout all these years, we have kept our commitment to quality. We understood economical crisis as an opportunity to reassess our methodology. Crises were nothing but challenges. We never stop investigating to maximize production through innovation and the implementation of new technologies and products. Keeping the pace and our commitment is the reason why we are still here today, celebrating our centennial anniversary and maintaining the confidence to go on and move forward.

ZD Zero Defects remains truthful to its early mission statement. We remain so true that even our headquarters is in the same building that saw us be born, in the heart of old Mataró downtown, solid as a rock. Adapting to new trends did not imply selling out or moving out to other countries.

How has this endurance race been throughout this last century?

We are honored to admit that part of this achievement is due to the amazing staff we have had throughout the years. Our team members made continuity and growth possible. Sadly, many are not among us anymore, and some of them now enjoy their well-deserved retirement. We would like to take this opportunity to thank their contribution because without them and their effort this celebration would not be possible. The rest of us that remain in active duty keep fighting for those same principles they instill on us: hard labor, excellent work ethic, enthusiasm, pride for everything developed, and joy for everything achieved.

We are proud of our team members, their high qualification and self due-diligence. Thanks to their perseverance, optimism and commitment, ZD has not stopped designing and making in-house exclusive handcrafted underwear garments that stand out for their elegance, comfort and quality.

Our new century starts this year, and taking everything we learned from the last, we have high prospects and eagerness for the upcoming one. We will follow the trends as they come, adjusting our processes according to new market developments, law modifications, and customer changes.

The one thing we know for sure is that we will continue working with the same modus operandi that characterizes our firm: enthusiasm, commitment and determination. Our goal is to be able to maintain customer satisfaction through guaranteed high quality innovative products and service.
